Women and Gender Studies High School Writing Prize

The Elizabeth Ann Seton Center for Women’s Studies at Seton Hall University sponsors an annual high school essay contest. Students are asked to write about a female role model who has inspired and influenced them. Contest winners receive a monetary prize and the first-prize winner has the opportunity to present his or her paper at Seton Hall University's annual Women and Gender Studies Conference. The submission deadline each year is in February.

If you have questions about the contest, please contact Dr. Mary Balkun, Professor of English at [email protected].
