Mercy Night

Monstrance

Join the seminarians of Immaculate Conception Seminary on Friday, March 18, at 8:00 p.m. in the Cathedral Basilica off the Sacred Heart, and bring a friend, to an evening of Eucharistic Adoration, confession, testimonies, prayer for one another and time spent with Our Lord in silence and in praise. Mercy Night is a grace received from the Emmanuel Community and has proved to be a powerful evening in the three other Mercy Nights that have already been held throughout the Archdiocese!

Mercy Nights have proven to be a powerful channel through which the grace and mercy of Christ comes to His people, and the various responses we received of those who have attended these Nights have shown us how efficacious they are for the spiritual life.

In this Jubilee Year of Mercy, the Holy Father, Pope Francis, has called on parishes to make the Mercy of God available through Eucharistic Adoration and Confession. How better to prepare ourselves for Holy Week in this Year of Mercy than gathering at the Cathedral Basilica and receiving Divine Mercy from the Source Itself? There will also be the opportunity to walk through the Holy Door and receive the indulgences attached to this year!
