Irma Johnson, a 32 year old woman from NYC, was working full time for a non profit youth organization when she decided she wanted to earn an advanced degree to progress in her field. She picked Seton Hall because it offered her a Masters Degree in Public Administration with a specialty in non-profit management. She says the weeknight and weekend classes made it possible to work and go to school but after the first year she was struggling to pay the tuition. She applied for scholarships and was awarded enough to complete the program. She says her education enabled her to get the job she loves at the United Way of New York City. She says she can continue to make a difference because donors cared enough to make her education possible. Sponsored By: Arts and Sciences (College of)
