Leo J. Bottary, M.A., is Vice President, Peer Influence at Vistage International, the world's leading peer advisory membership organization for CEOs and business leaders. Mr. Bottary has enjoyed a 30-year career counseling leaders in the areas of strategic communication, crisis management, brand building, and business development.

Mr. Bottary has served in senior leadership roles at Mullen and Hill & Knowlton, where he was also director of client service for the US. In 1995, he founded an award-winning public relations agency that a leading trade publication hailed as a regional powerhouse, new media pioneer, and great place to work. He sold the firm in 2000.

Mr. Bottary has been teaching for Seton Hall's MASCL program since 2008 and for the MASC program since 2013. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and German from Jacksonville University and a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication and Leadership from Seton Hall University. Mr. Bottary is currently pursuing an Ed.D. (Organizational Leadership Studies) from Northeastern University. He resides in Encinitas, California and Crested Butte, Colorado.
