Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor
Department of Physician Assistant

I have been a Physician Assistant since 1997. I have worked clinically in Primary Care/Internal Medicine for the majority of my career. In the last six years, I have taken on administrative roles in my field while simultaneously working in the clinical aspect.

I joined the Physician Assistant Program at Seton Hall University in May of 2011. I am thrilled to join such a wonderful family of educators. While new to academia, my favorite aspects of clinical work have been patient education and student preceptorship. I am the consummate educator. I strive to have patients and students understand health and recognize disease states so they can feel in control of all possible outcomes and treatment options.

One strong area of interest for me is the art of communication between clinician and patient, with emphasis on the roles of empathy and education. I am thrilled to contribute to the development and success of future generations of Physician Assistants.
