Seton Hall University
Web Development

Web Development (Web Dev), a cross-divisional team with Public Relations (PR), maintains, supports, and updates the University's Web presence. Web Dev handles the creation, edits and maintenance of Web sites within the University's content management system, CommonSpot. Working with PR and account managers, Web Dev creates promotional Web sites that support advertising and development campaigns.

The Web Dev team also assists academic and administrative departments in presenting information through Web page creation and design, and with workflow design and implementation. In collaboration with various sectors of the University, the Web Dev team further helps with developing University policy pertaining to Web development and delivery.

Web Dev also maintains Web analytics software to provide accurate reports on usage. These reports, in addition to Search Engine Optimization software, help generate more and more traffic, and keep the site running with the latest technologies.
