Policies

Student Mobile Computing Policies: There are several student specific policies that govern participation in the Mobile Computing Program.

Information Technology Equipment Purchasing: All University IT equipment is purchased from established preferred vendors.

University Standard Software Suite: The Department of Information Technology maintains a list of supported software that can be installed on standard desktops and laptop computers.

Laptop Image Software Installation Policy: This policy outlines the process for evaluating, procuring, and installing new software for the laptop image.

Computer Lab Software Installation Policy: This policy outlines the process for installing new software applications in the public computer labs.

Curriculum Development Initiative (CDI): CDI is a granting program geared at academic departments that undertake technology-enabled curriculum development.

CEHS Portfolio Project: CEHS is using electronic portfolios to demonstrate how students achieve standards defined by accreditation organizations

Freshman Studies Portfolio Project: Freshman Studies piloted the creation of electronic portfolios in the University Life course .

My Portfolio @ SHU: Seton Hall University has embraced the use of electronic portfolios as a university initiative since 2003.

Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF): The SURF grants are awarded to qualified students to conduct faculty directed research in their area of study.
