Policies

Student Mobile Computing Policies: There are several student specific policies that govern participation in the Mobile Computing Program.

Information Technology Equipment Purchasing: All University IT equipment is purchased from established preferred vendors.

University Standard Software Suite: The Department of Information Technology maintains a list of supported software that can be installed on standard desktops and laptop computers.

Laptop Image Software Installation Policy: This policy outlines the process for evaluating, procuring, and installing new software for the laptop image.

Computer Lab Software Installation Policy: This policy outlines the process for installing new software applications in the public computer labs.

Services

Computer Training Classroom: The Computer Training Classroom (CTC) offers training to the entire SHU community on all university supported software.

IT Self-Help: SHU IT Helpdesk is an on-line FAQ database that enables you to troubleshoot problems and find answers on your own.

E-mail Accounts: All Seton Hall University employees and students are issued a university e-mail account.

Wireless Connectivity on Campus: The University has a state of the art wireless network which provides wireless coverage over the entire campus.
