Systems and Communications Support

Systems Support is responsible for maintaining, availability, and functionality of the University servers which provide the underlying infrastructure for the applications used by the University. Systems Support also has these responsibility on the application level for certain systems, including email, network file shares, and network printing. This is achieved through daily monitoring of the systems and equipment, server installations, maintenance and upgrades, system administration, system back-ups, and system recoveries should an outage occur.  The System Support team also creates and maintains all user accounts for the University network and e-mail system.
