RSS

RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication. Websites that have constantly updated content, such as blogs and news sites, publish an RSS feed to allow users to subscribe to these updates. RSS subscriptions can be read in a number of RSS Aggregators such as iGoogle, Google Reader, or MyYahoo.

The power of subscribing to RSS feeds of your favorite websites is that it allows you to view any changes to a number of websites without having to visit each one individually.

How do I locate an RSS feed?

If an RSS feed is available for a given website, it will be indicated by the orange RSS icon feed. Different web browser will display RSS Feeds in different locations. See your browser of preference for specific details.

Selecting either the RSS icon feed or the Subscribe to this page link will prompt you to select your RSS Reader and subscribe to the feed. RSS readers know what content to update on a daily basis.
