The primary contact for all network, e-mail and web account support is the Technology Help Desk.  To contact the Technology Help Desk call 973-275-2222, extension 2222 from on-campus, or send an e-mail to helpdesk@shu.edu.
 
If a student or employee does not have an account, or if that account is not providing access to all the expected areas of the system, the most likely reason is that the student or employee's record in the University's Banner system is incorrect.  In most cases students will be referred to Enrollment Services and employees will be referred to their immediate supervisor to have their Banner record corrected or updated.  Once the record is correct, account or access issue will be automatically corrected.  This process currently takes approximately two business days.
 
Employees can also contact the Technology Help Desk for account problems.  A service request will be entered and directed to Human Resources for verification of employment and account creation approval.  
 
In order for temporary employees to receive an account, a request must be made to the Technology Help Desk.  The supervisor of the temp employee must sign a Service Agreement with Systems Support for account creation.  
 
If account issues are not resolved once the Banner record has been updated, contact the Technology Help Desk for further assistance.
