Desktop and laptop computers are essential tools for Faculty, Administrators, and Students at SHU.  Asset Management, of PC Support Services, has been given the task to assist with the desktop and laptop needs of the campus.



Seton Hall purchases a standard suite of software that is installed on all desktops and laptops.  A software image is created for both desktop and laptop computers which bundle all of the standard software making set-up and installation very efficient.  In addition to the standard software, specialty software applications are also purchased by various academic departments and can be installed for student use in the public computer labs.



If there is an academic need, academic departments can make a request to add a particular software application to either the laptop image or the desktops in the public labs.



Support Services for university hardware and software are available through PC Support Services.


 

In addition to the services provided for you, DoIT also believes in providing you with the knowledge and tools so that you are able to prevent or troubleshoot and solve technical problems that you encounter on your own.  To this end, we have created the following information and services.
