Faculty Resources
The Teaching, Learning and Technology (TLT)Center invests a lot of resources into researching, testing and developing instructional technologies to be made available for faculty in the support of using technology to enhance teaching and learning. Research and Grant Opportunities
The TLT Center promotes and encourages the innovative application of existing technologies as well as the investigation of new instructional technologies. This is done through an internal grant process which awards funding and support of such endeavors. Two such grant opportunities are the Curriculum Development Initiative (CDI) and the Faculty Innovation Grants (FIGS). To view additional granting opportunities, please click here.
Faculty Development
The TLT Center hosts a variety of workshops for faculty held throughout the year on a broad range of educational technology topics. During the summer months the TLT Center hosts its annual “Summer Series” dedicating a day each week to the investigation of new and emerging technologies as well as core technologies such as Blackboard. In addition to these summer events, workshops are held throughout the academic year and range from intensive hands-on sessions to special topic presentations. To view a list of events as well as computer training opportunities offered at the TLT Center visit http://tltc.shu.edu/register.
