Java Virtual Machine

Blackboard Learn requires the latest version of Sun JRE 6. Check if you have the latest version at http://www.java.com and click on the "Do I Have Java" link. Many issues with Blackboard can be resolved by ensuring you have the latest version of Java. JRE 7 is not supported.
