The Department of Military Science administers the Army Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Program to conveniently coincide with the college curriculum to prepare highly talented students for careers in the U.S. Army through a true focus on academics, physical fitness, and leadership. ROTC is a college elective program that provides leadership development, promotes team work, and builds individual confidence and discipline while earning your baccalaureate degree. For students looking for a chance to serve their country, pay for college, and / or a guaranteed job after graduation, ROTC is the smartest college course you can take. ROTC offers you leadership training you cannot find anywhere else. While you're in school, you have the opportunity to compete for merit scholarships, and take part in activities that will both test and gratify you. Whether you plan to serve a few years and then take the civilian world by storm, or make the military a career, ROTC will set you up for success.
Seton Hall's ROTC program will develop you into a strategic thinking, flexible, and adaptable leader able to confront the challenges of a complex and global world in both the military and civilian sectors.
