Summary Plan Descriptions
A Summary Plan Description (SPD) is a publication that gives each covered member an in-depth explanation of how a benefit plan works, including explanations of eligible services, claim filing procedures and the claim appeals process. We have published the SPD for various benefit plans on the secure PirateNet portal. To view a document:
- Log into the Piratenet Portal
- Select the Offices and Services tab
- In the Human Resources Channel, click on "Access HR Documents"
Banner Self-Service
Banner Self-Service allows employees to update and/or view their personal information such as address, benefits, direct deposit, pay stub, leave details, tax forms and position lookup. To access self-service:
- Log into the Piratenet Portal
- Select the myInfo tab
- In the Banner Self Service Channel click on “Banner Self Service”
