Compensation and Classification
Seton Hall University is committed to recruiting and retaining excellent employees in an evolving environment. Employee and Labor Relations
Employee and Labor Relations is committed to administering the University's policies and procedures regarding workplace issues, including disciplinary actions and grievance procedures, in a fair, equitable and consistent manner.  We enable employees and managers to work together cooperatively and, when necessary, we will serve as an intermediary to avert and/or resolve issues between management and staff and/or union representatives.

HR Information Technology
The Information Technology and Records Management area is responsible for managing computer systems support for the department, including the administration of Banner processes, procedures, security and reporting.  We strive to use the system more efficiently and automate where feasible through analysis of processes and system capabilities. 

Payroll Administration
Managing transactions and Human Resource Information Systems is the core of the payroll operation.  Maintaining the HR/Payroll database, posting changes, auditing for completeness, reviewing input and output and preparing timely paychecks in accordance with University policy and all applicable laws and regulations is a top priority.

Recruitment and Employment
Recruitment and employment is committed to assisting hiring managers with recruiting and placing experienced, qualified and diverse candidates into regular and temporary administrative and support staff positions.   

Training and Organizational Development 
Training and Development recognizes the value of life-long learning opportunities to enhance organizational and individual performance. Serving both supervisory and non-supervisory administrative personnel as well as secretarial and support staff, we design and deliver programs and learning resources to contribute to increased knowledge, improved performance, and enhanced personal and professional development.
