SART

SART logoThe Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) serves as a resource to Seton Hall community members who may have been the victims of a sexual assault or other forms of dating violence. SART was formed in the Fall semester of 2009 by a steering committee comprised of administrators from the offices of Community Development, Public Safety and Counseling Services.

Today, SART has a membership of ten trained advocates including undergraduate students, graduate students and University administrators. The application, interview and selection process is held in the Spring semester to prepare advocates for an intensive 20-hour training program in the Fall. They will also facilitate educational workshops and outreach programs for the campus community throughout the academic year.
