NCBl is a non-profit, international, leadership training organization that works to eliminate racism and all other forms of prejudice and discrimination throughout the world. NCBI aims to develop a new kind of leader: one, who initiates diversity programs, takes principled stands, can enter the emotional heat of groups in conflict and build bridges, and models being an ally for all groups.
The NCBI chapter at Seton Hall University is part of 60 other Universities under the College Program of NCBI International. Our chapter is a coalition of employees and students that have completed the NCBI Train the Trainer program. The Seton Hall NCBI chapter provides diversity and anti-discrimination workshops throughout the year. Among the programs NCBI offers at Seton Hall we have
Train the Trainer, a three day course that prepares participants to lead NCBI programs. Also,
Welcome Week is a three hour simultaneous presentation for over 1200 incoming freshmen that introduces the NCBI program and Seton Hall's commitment to diversity. In addition, we offer a
One Day, Welcoming Diversity Workshop in which participants do a series of activities, empowering individuals of all ages and backgrounds to take leadership in building inclusive communities.
