Go Greek at SHU!

As you explore the opportunities available to you at Seton Hall, consider whether Greek Life is right for you. Our Greek organizations are comprised of groups of individuals with various interests. They are bonded together by common goals and aspirations. Leadership, scholarship, community service, and brotherhood/sisterhood are the pillars of each of our organizations. By focusing on these four ideals, one can expect both a positive collegiate and Greek experience.

Joining a fraternity or sorority is a lifetime commitment - a commitment that will benefit you now and in the future. The friendships and skills you build when you join a Greek organization are forged and built to last a lifetime. Our Greek community has so much to offer you. It's comprised of chapters that are individually unique, but together, they are a complete and united community.

The Greek community at Seton Hall University is governed by the Greek Municipal Assembly, which has representation from each organization,  and three councils, each with a group of organizations under its jurisdiction. The governing entities include:

Requirements to join a Greek Life Organization

At Seton Hall, students interested in joining a sorority or fraternity must: be in good judicial standing with the university, have completed a minimum of 12 credits at SHU, and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.3.
