The Career Center wants to assist alumni who are in need of individualized career coaching. Alumni can meet with a qualified career professional who can provide guidance to address where you are in your career management, which can include: an exploration of your interests, motivations, skills, and personality factors as you consider a career change; a review career goals, a resume critique, a discussion on career strategies, and a review on career assessments. For those alumni who are interested in all of these services and more, we offer a Comprehensive Career Assessment Package.

First year alumni have unlimited free access to all Career Center programs, including career fairs and on-campus interviewing for one calendar year from the date of graduation. First-year alumni are not eligible for Seton Hall University-sponsored internships.

Individual Career Coaching Session
All career sessions are customized to your unique career needs and can include: career intake, career coaching, interview coaching, a review of career goals, and strategies to approach a job search, etc.
Fee: $25.00 per 75 minute session

Resume Critiquing
Planning a job change, career transition or thinking of re-entering the workforce? Meet with an experienced career professional to get help updating, targeting and/or enhancing your resume. If you do not have a resume or want to create a new one, you may consider using Optimal Resume, a powerful resume writing tool which is part of Optimal Resources.
Fee: $25.00 per 75 minute session

Optimal Resources
Optimal Resources includes programs designed to assist you in your career search and career preparation. The package includes tools for resume writing (Optimal Resume), professional correspondence (OptimalLetters), interview preparation (OptimalInterviewing), and portfolio creation (OptimalePortfolio).

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Inventory (MBTI®)
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) Career Report can assist you finding a career that is meaningful to you and at which you could be productive. The more you understand about yourself and your personality, the better your decisions will be about your career and the more effective you will be able to implement those decisions.
Fee: $50.00 (includes a 75 minute session and detailed report and interpretation by a qualified professional and supporting material, including "Introduction to Type and Careers")

Interpretation of Strong Interest Inventory (SII®)
The Strong Interest Inventory® is a reliable and valuable career-planning tool that measures one’s interests, in a broad range of areas, including occupational and leisure activities. It is an essential resource for those considering a career change or seeking more satisfying work within an organization.
Fee: $40.00 (includes a 75-minute session and detailed report and interpretation by a qualified professional)

Comprehensive Career Assessment Package
This package offers several career assessments and feedback tools for transitioning alumni and includes four (4) individualized sessions with a career professional covering initial career intake and the following career assessment tools.

• Interpretation of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) Career Report including a detailed report and supporting materials including "Introduction to Type and Careers"
• Access to FOCUS-2 career assessment and consultation with career professional on results
