There are many different ways to locate internships as well as summer, part-time, temporary and professional employment opportunities. The Career Center's Navigator job board is one way. We also encourage students to attend career fairs and research other reputable job boards as well as community and local job boards.
Recruiting organizations also post their part-time, summer and temporary jobs as well as university-approved interns and professional opportunities in Navigator, The Career Center's primary career management job board exclusively for Seton Hall students and alumni. If you don't have a Navigator account, call our office at (973) 761-9355.
In addition to online resources, The Career Center offers opportunities to meet representatives from hiring organizations through our many career events and on-campus interviews. Also, our Pirate Mentors (Seton Hall alumni who have volunteered to assist students and alumni) can provide access to the “hidden job market”. We also encourage you to read through this Web site for other resources and information to help with your career search.
Internships
Internships are a highly valued form of career-based learning at Seton Hall. The Career Center manages a large and diverse internship program, and we’re proud of the reputation that we’ve earned throughout the employer and academic community. More than 450 students participate each year, providing them with the opportunity to develop skills and begin to create a professional network. (The School of Diplomacy manages a required internship within the School.)
All internships are screened and approved for the work and learning value that they can offer our students. Internship employers provide on-going feedback to their interns and conduct a performance evaluation of the intern at the completion of the internship.
The Career Center recommends that all students seeking intern opportunities should start their search six months prior to the semester that they intend to intern. Read more »
Summer, Part Time, Temporary Jobs

Part-time, summer and temporary jobs can also provide students with additional income to help pay for the costs of their college education. To search and apply for these positions in The Career Center’s Navigator job board, you will first need to read and understand the University’s Student Guideline. Read more »
