This guide will walk you through the basics of posting an employment opportunity with Seton Hall University's eRecruiting system. You are able to post internships and entry-level through mid-level professional opportunities with Seton Hall University, free of charge. To avoid confusion and fees, please read all instructions carefully.
If you are posting an internship, please review, sign and submit the “Internship Partnership Guidelines.”
Creating an Account
- Click “Create an Account” in the Employer Log In Box and follow the prompts.
Creating a Job
- Click on “Post a Job”.
- In the lower section titled “Post to Linked Schools”, you will see a small box on the right.
- If you have never linked to Seton Hall University select “Request to Link”
- If you have a linked Seton Hall University account select “Seton Hall University.”
- You will now be able to enter the information about your posting free of Charge. Please provide as many details about the position as you can.
- If you are interested in interviewing for this position on-campus, please select “Yes” to the interview question under the Application Method section and contact our office at (973) 761-9355 to schedule.
- Be sure to select “Save” once you enter the posting information.
Note: If you are posting a full-time or internship position, please be aware that your contact information will be hidden and will not appear to students searching for jobs.
You will notice that after you save your job information, the apply end date is set well into the future. Be assured that The Career Center will adjust the dates within 1-2 days of receiving your job information. All professional positions and internships will be posted for 60 days. If you wish to change this time period or if your position is filled prior to the end of the 60 day period, please contact The Career Center.
Searching for Candidates
- Search for qualified candidates by choosing the Resume Books section on your Seton Hall University employer home page.
- The system will help you invite potential candidates to apply for your positions.
Enhanced Posting Options to Alumni
The Career Center is also focusing our efforts on enhancing the services we provide to our pool of highly talented alumni. Remember, if you are seeking talent for your "early to mid-level" positions or beyond, you should also consider posting these opportunities in our eRecruiting database. These opportunities will be shared with our alumni at no cost to you.
