Seton Hall University’s Career Center provides a “high touch and high
tech” career education and recruiting environment for students, alumni,
and employers.
Our team of talented career professionals guide
students with decisions about selecting an academic major, discovering
one's calling and vocation, defining career goals and preparing for and
securing an Internship or professional job.
Experiential education
plays a significant role in our students’ academic and co-curricular
experiences at Seton Hall University. By graduation, more than 70
percent of undergraduates have obtained relevant work experience
through either an internship, clinical, field experience or student teaching assignment.
We work closely with the academic colleges to support students in both
preparing and securing these valuable work and learning experiences.
Our
alumni and employer partners are integral in preparing students for the
world of work. Alumni and employers are regularly invited to campus to
talk with students about their career paths. Our web-based Pirate
Mentor Program offers students and fellow alumni access to 300+ alumni
who have volunteered to serve as career mentors for students and
alumni.
Additionally, our recruiting programs offer hiring
organizations numerous avenues to recruit talent for internship,
entry-level and mid-career to manager level positions.
Through
our comprehensive range of services the Career Center team is very
dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our students and
offering our employer and alumni the highest level of service
possible.
Warm regards,
Jacquline Chaffin
