Tutoring Resources

ARC tutors assist students with mastering their course content, sharpening their testing and writing skills, and maximizing their potential for academic achievement. When combined with regular attendance of classes, visits to professors' office hours, and formation of peer study groups, tutoring serves as a proactive step for students to ensure academic success.

The ARC provides tutoring for a variety of subjects, including (but not limited to): math, biology, writing, chemistry, history, modern and classical languages, economics, and philosophy. We encourage you to come often and bring your friends, to increase and improve your academic achievement and performance. Check our schedule, make an appointment online through Starfish, or visit drop-in hours.

Tutoring resources begin on the first day of the semester and ends on Reading Day, the day prior to the start of finals. Each semester on Reading Day, the ARC partners with campus departments to host “SHU Tutopia”, a large drop-in tutoring event that allows students to have their last minute questions answered.

Our services are free to all Seton Hall University students!
