Hybrid teaching is a unique style of teaching which merges face-to-face and online teaching. This new way of teaching inevitably creates new challenges. In fact, hybrid teaching can be even more challenging than teaching a traditional course or an online course. That's why on February 1, 2018 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the Faculty Lounge of the University Center, Instructor Devon Gifis of the College of Communication and the Arts will be offering a workshop on Strategies for Teaching Hybrid Courses.
Please join us to learn how to effectively engage students and maximize their learning experience in a hybrid course, how to overcome obstacles in the online classroom, how to effectively design the course, and how to balance the workload between the different parts of the course.
Light refreshments will be served.
