Joseph Toma '49 almost didn't make it to Seton Hall University.
During World War II, he was thrown overboard from his Coast Guard ship
while on a transport run for D-Day. Seton Hall magazine wrote of his
life-and-death drama and his life after the war which included a Seton
Hall business degree and a successful career as an entrepreneur.
