U.S. Senator Cory Booker on WSOU

Cory BookerSouth Orange, N.J. – U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-N.J.) will appear on WSOU 89.5 FM’s morning show at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2014. This will be the Senator’s first appearance on the student-run radio station of Seton Hall University since he was elected to Senate in a special election last October.

Senator Booker will be interviewed by Seton Hall student and WSOU station manager Erin O’Grady. Their conversation will focus on youth unemployment, criminal justice reform, and the Senator’s first few months in office, among other topics.

WSOU began broadcasting in 1948 and for more than 25 years has been celebrated for its loud rock format. The station’s signal on 89.5 FM reaches all five boroughs of New York City and much of northern and central of New Jersey. WSOU can also be streamed via iHeartRadio.
