Hogan Blood Drive Memorial Weekend
Seton Hall > News & Events

Owen HoganPlease answer the call for one of our own beloved Pirate Families: Two-year-old Owen Hogan, who is the grandson of Joan K. Brennan, and parents, Kathleen Burns Hogan and Tim Hogan. Owen has been diagnosed with aplastic anemia, a bone marrow disease where the marrow itself stops producing blood cells. It is a rare and serious condition that, due to his low blood cell counts, hemoglobin, and platelet counts leaves him very susceptible to bleeding and infection. The family is desperately looking for people to donate with O- blood, but all blood types are welcome and appreciated.

There will be a blood drive this Saturday and Sunday, May 25 and 26.

  • The first blood drive will be held on Saturday, May 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Knights of Columbus #3428, Main Hall 194 River Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031.

  • Sunday, May 26, the blood drive will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Salaam Shrine Center, Ballroom 1, 368 East Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ 07039.
