What do you see as "The True, the Good and the Beautiful?"
That's what the Institute for Christian Spirituality, part of Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology, encouraged students to consider through its creative new photo contest. Through January 31, students from three age groups -- 13-16, 17-20 and 21-24 -- set out to capture images of faith in their Catholic parish communities, celebrating God's presence in their everyday lives.
On March 15, the Institute hosted an awards ceremony honoring the contest winners for their breathtaking photography and insightful interpretations of each shot. Each winner received a monetary prize -- with a matching prize given to his or her parish -- as well as the honor of having their photos displayed in Walsh Gallery, the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center (Washington, D.C.) and the National Museum of Catholic Art and History (New York City).
Congratulations to all the winners!
