On Tuesday, April 22, 2008, the G.K. Chesterton Institute for Faith & Culture will be sponsoring a lecture by David Mills, entitled “Two Ways to the Same End: Comparing G.K. Chesterton’s Orthodoxy and C.S. Lewis’s Mere Christianity.
David Mills is the editor of the ecumenical journal Touchstone: A Magazine of Mere Christianity. Before becoming editor in 2003, he taught writing at an Episcopal seminary and edited two Episcopal journals. He has edited a book of essays on C.S. Lewis, The Pilgrims’ Guide: C.S. Lewis and the Art of Witness, and written a popular book on the early Church, Knowing the Real Jesus. He, his wife, and their four children were received into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in 2001.
The lecture will take place at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Immaculate Conception Seminary, Lewis Hall.
