Japan Week 2008: Opportunity in the Midst of Crisis - A New Path to an International Community, a week celebrating Japanese culture from April 7-11, seeks to build a bridge between cultures, so knowledge and experiences of Japan can be shared through lectures, symposia, workshops and other events.

According to Japan Week Director Shigeru Osuka, Japan Week 2008 demonstrates an ongoing commitment to help bring people of different races, religions, cultures and ethnic backgrounds in one world together.
