Gus Johnson Hosts 3rd Annual SportsTrivia Night

CBS Announcer and New York Knicks Play-by-Play Announcer Gus Johnson visits on Tuesday, February 26, to host the third annual Sport Management Student Association Sports Trivia Night. The event will begin at 8:45 pm in Jubilee Hall Auditorium. Twelve organizations from the Seton Hall community will be competing for glory, honor, and prizes.

About Gus Johnson: 
In his 11th year as a NCAA Men's Basketball Championship play-by-play announcer for CBS Sports, Gus Johnson is a seasoned veteran in the sports world.

Over his expansive career, Johnson has called CBS Sports' HDTV broadcasts of the 2000- 2002 Final Four and Championship games, and has called play-by-play for college football, track and field, boxing, the Hambletonian and bobsled/luge at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games. He has served as host of AT THE HALF, CBS Sports' college basketball halftime studio show, CBS Sports' SPORTSDESK wrap-around studio show, and provided commentary for MSG's coverage of the Golden Gloves Tournament. He has also served as host of the "Yankees ScoreCard," as well as the New York Rangers and Knicks "GameNight."

Currently, he is the radio voice of the NBA's New York Knicks and also provides play-by-play for Madison Square Garden Network's coverage of the WNBA's New York Liberty. In addition, Johnson works as anchor and reporter for MSG's "SportsDesk."

Johnson is a graduate of Howard University with a degree in political science.
