In 2003, Seton Hall University's sesquicentennial strategic plan
called for the replacement of the Plus2000 administrative system to
improve service, streamline processes, increase access to institutional
information, and foster a cultume of assessment and accountability. In
2005 the University launched the Banner Project to replace the Plus2000
system with Banner, the top ranked higher education administrative
system according to Gartner, Inc. Last month the University achieved a
major milestone in the Banner Project with the "go live" of HR/Payroll.
The main Banner modules - Student, Financial Aid, Finance, and
HR/Payroll - are now all operational. The Plus2000 system is now only
used for archival purposes.
Congratulations to the implementation teams and all those who
contributed to the project for their hard work and tremendous success.
This has been a remarkable achievement on the part of the entrire
University community.
