Recreation Center Water Outage Today
Seton Hall > News & Events Monday, February 4, 2008
by: Steve Kurtyka
There is a break in the underground water pipe supplying water to
the recreation center. A firm has been excavating the area of the
suspected leak for two days trying to find the problem. The break has
been found and isolated. It is necessary to shut off the water supply
to the recreation center at 11:30 a.m. today to repair the broken water
line. The water in the recreation center will be off from 11:30 a.m.
until approximately 6:00 p.m. today, Thursday, 7 February.
There will be no water fountains, no restrooms, no showers, no washing
machines, no ice machines, and no whirlpools available in the
recreation center during this time.
The inconvenience is regretted, but the leak has to be repaired as soon
as possible. Please make your exercise and work-out plans with this
water outage in mind. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
