The Stillman School of Business and the Department of Asian Studies at the Seton Hall University, in collaboration with the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing, China, offer the June-In-China Program, in which students have a chance to experience firsthand one of the world’s most unique and industrious societies. You will visit Beijing, Xi’an (historical city), and Shanghai – (three greatest cities in China), plus sightseeing to the Great Wall, Terra Cotta Army and more on the trip.
Spend 2 weeks in China and earn 3 or 6 credits.

In this study abroad program, Seton Hall and the UIBE offer a team-taught course and an opportunity to complete an independent study course. Students are required to register for
- BMGT4552 China in Global Economy - Undergraduate (3 credits)
- BMGT7552 China in Global Economy - Graduate Level (3 credits)
and/or
- ASIA 5195 SP Directed Studies - Undergraduate
- ASIA 9195 SP Directed Studies - Graduate level
The courses focus on China’s important role in the global economy. The courses are designed to develop a better understanding of the different aspects & the current developments of the Chinese economy.

Trip & Payment Details:
Students will pay directly to Seton Hall University all required fees and tuition costs separately as specified in the summer course catalog. Seton Hall normally gives a 25% discount off tuition for courses taken off-campus. The trip package cost, $2,650, includes international and local airfare, entry visa fee, lodging, scheduled sightseeing, class field trips and exit fees (some food is included). Payment for the trip should be remitted to SHU June-In-China Program. Participants stay at a hotel near the UIBE (with air conditioning, shower/bath, and western style toilet) two to a room. Free breakfast is available in the hotel dining hall. For lunch and dinner, you can eat at UIBE or at any restaurant of your choice.
