Athletic Training Research Study
Seton Hall > News & Events

All members of the University community are invited to participate in a research study investigating the perceptions of the Athletic Training profession in a university setting. This study is being conducted by Dr. Vicci Hill-Lombardi, Associate Professor, School of Graduate Medical Education, with several graduate students in the Master of Science in Athletic Training program, Matthew Pepe, Angel Montanez, and Margeritte Abdelkodoos.  During the next few weeks, members of the research team will be administering the survey at a variety of locations around campus including building lobbies, the quad, and the student center.

All students, faculty and employees are encouraged to participate.  However, Certified Athletic Trainers or Athletic Training students are excluded from participation.

In order to participate in this study, a survey packet must be completed while in a team member’s presence. The whole process should take less than ten minutes.

This study has been reviewed and approved by the Seton Hall University Institutional Review Board.  Questions regarding human subject rights may be directed to Dr. Mary Ruzicka, Chairperson of the IRB at (973) 313-6314.
