Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame InductionsOn Wednesday, September 26, John Auriemma ’81 and Thomas J. Sharkey ’54 were inducted into the Entrepreneur Hall of Fame. Over 100 people attended the event. Part of the Stillman School of Business, the Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame honors Seton Hall Alumni who are entrepreneurs in the state of New Jersey.

Mr. Auriemma is president of American Wear, Inc. one of the largest uniform suppliers in the U.S. In 2007, he was a N.J. finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Mr. Sharkey is the Chairman of Meeker Sharkey and Associates, a leading commercial and consumer focused insurance broker, serving leading national and international clients.

The mission of the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies is to foster the entrepreneurial spirit in our students, alumni and throughout the New Jersey business community. The center strives to engage alumni and other local entrepreneurs in curriculum decisions, to increase student interest in entrepreneurship and to offer student internships.
