Seton Hall > News & Events

Young Alumni ClubThe Seton Hall University Young Alumni Club is proud to announce its newly elected executive board members, each of whom will serve a one-year term beginning on July 1, 2014.

Richard Allen '10 President
Ryan Garrity '11 Vice President
Kaitlyn Reper '10 Secretary

Allen, Garrity and Reper replace the most active executive board in the history of the Young Alumni Club. Under the leadership of Cristin Johnson '09, president, Seton Hall's young alumni engagement efforts experienced tremendous growth. Joining Johnson on the outgoing executive board are Shana Reyes '08, vice president, Colleen Dallavalle '09, secretary, and Danielle Paleafico '09, director of public relations and marketing.

"I am very excited to be taking over leadership of the Young Alumni Club at such a successful time in the group's history," said Allen. "I believe that the University's young alumni, in partnership with the team in Alumni Relations, have layed a very solid foundation over the past few years, upon which I know that our efforts to involve an ever-increasing number of recent graduates will grow."

Early plans for the Young Alumni Club's activities for the upcoming year include an increased number of events and professional skill-building activities. Also of top importance, a continued effort to support the University's fundraising initiatives. Since the redevelopment of the Young Alumni Club in 2012, the giving rate among young alumni has increased significantly.

"There are numerous ways for Young Alumni to get involved with Seton Hall," says Allen. "We want to make sure that graduates of the past ten years are in contact with the University and that the Young Alumni Club continues to find ways to help them see the benefits of a life-long relationship with their alma mater."
