You may have heard that the Department of Human Resources is implementing e-Appraisal, the University’s new web-based performance appraisal system for administrators and staff developed by Halogen Software Inc.
e-Appraisal simplifies setting performance goals, tracking accomplishments, compiling the results and writing the final document, making all the steps more flexible and efficient.
The “Coaching Tips”, “Language Checker” and the “Comment Helper” all make the annual appraisal task easier.
As you prepare to hear and learn more about e-Appraisal start to:
- Review goals from last year;
- Gather your notes regarding your performance (or that of your direct reports) over the past year;
- Review the current job responsibilities and duties in preparation for the appraisal process;
- Start thinking about goals for next year.
