How to Get the Most Out of Your Apps!
Seton Hall > News & Events

Danielle MirlissHave you heard about the newest Continuing Education & Professional Studies workshop, "Need Productivity? There's an App for That!"? According to the workshop developer and instructor, Danielle Mirliss, Ed.D., "This is going to be an exciting course. Applications are convenient, fun, and highly beneficial, however, most people lack the time to research them. In this workshop, we'll take the difficulty out of that."

Over the course of three hours, Dr. Mirliss will take participants beyond using their devices for entertainment to show them how to use mobile apps to create, collaborate, and increase productivity at home and at work. The workshop will place particular emphasis on cloud-based productivity apps. "With these apps, you can go from laptop, to phone, to tablet, without the fear of forgetting or losing a file. Never fall victim to losing your documents again," says Dr. Mirliss. Participants also will explore on-the-go apps such as Evernote, DropBox, and popular Google apps.

Dr. Mirliss holds an Ed.D. in Instructional Technology and Media from Teachers College at Columbia University. She has worked at Seton Hall for the last 11 years and is currently the Associate Director of the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center (TLTC).
