CEHS Honors Recipients of the Hanbury Alumni Mission Award & Schreitmueller Faculty Servant Leader Award
The College of Education and Human Services honored the recipients of the Hanbury Alumni Mission Award, Leonard
Alexander Moscatelli, M.A., Ed.S. and the Schreitmueller Faculty
Servant Leader Award, Daniel Gutmore, Ph.D., Faculty Associate,
Department of Education Leadership, Management and Policy on Friday, April 25th.
An inaugural recognition, the Hanbury Alumni Mission Award is given
in memory of Monsignor Kevin M. Hanbury, Ed.D. As Pastor of St. Philomena's Parish, Vicar of Education in the Archdiocese of Newark, and Associate Dean at the College of Education and Human Services, Monsignor Hanbury modeled a life committed to service with his drive to care, nurture, and empower those who were challenged or in need. This award
recognizes an alumnus from the college who embodies the passion for
service Monsignor Hanbury had throughout his life.
Additionally, the honoree of the Schreitmueller Faculty Servant
Leader Award was recognized. This award is bestowed in honor of Reverend Henry J. Schreitmueller, as a tribute to his service as an outstanding leader, beloved educator and mentor, and to his qualities of servant leadership, exemplified throughout his years at the College of Education and Human Services.
