St. Patrick's Day ParadeJoin your fellow Setonians in Seton Hall’s second annual march in the NYC St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Put your Pirate and Irish pride on display for all the world to see as you march up 5th Avenue!

Pirates of Irish Persuasion & Extraction (PIPE), Alumni Relations, University Events, Public Relations and Marketing, and the College of Arts and Sciences are collaborating to make our participation in the biggest and most-watched St. Patrick's Day Parade in the world a huge success. This year, the Parade takes place on Monday, March 17.

The Irish around the world have long celebrated St. Patrick’s Day to commemorate Ireland’s patron saint. We invite all Seton Hall students, alumni, faculty, staff, administrators, as well as their families and friends, to join us in celebrating St. Patrick’s mission in Ireland and the contributions that the Irish and those of Irish descent have made to our culture—and to Seton Hall itself. And, we celebrate equally the fact that although we all come from different backgrounds, we are united in the value we place on justice, joy, truth, and faith.

The day begins at 12 Noon with a Mass, at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception on the South Orange Campus, celebrated by Reverend John Morley, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies.

At 1pm, charter buses will leave from the University Center to bring us to Manhattan to celebrate one of the most exciting days of the year in New York!
In the evening, after our march is complete, our charter buses will return to Seton Hall’s campus. On the buses on the way back, participants will be eligible to win souvenir prizes donated by the Seton Hall Bookstore.

Tickets for this event are $15 each through February 28 and $20 each from March 1 through March 7. The ticket price includes charter bus transportation from and returning to Seton Hall, a bagged bagel lunch, a Seton Hall backpack filled with Pirate goodies, and a commemorative Seton Hall Parade sash.

Seats are limited: order your ticket today!

For those who would like to march with us but are unable to join us on the charter buses, please register to march with us. The $10 registration fee will include a Seton Hall backpack and a commemorative Seton Hall Parade sash.
