Adjunct Professor in the Department of Catholic Studies, Fr. Warren Hall, who is currently offering a Catholic Studies highly popular course entitled “Spirituality and Sports: a Catholic Perspective” was interviewed by Daniel Burke, Belief Blog Co-editor on CNN.
This is what Fr. Hall has to say about the Supernatural Twists of the Super Bowl: “God cares about the people on the field, their conduct and character, but not the outcome of games. If God really were a sports fan, Catholic colleges would boast much better records. While God may not be intervening in the field of play, Fr. Hall said he sees an element of the divine in the stands, in the communion of bleacher creatures.”
