MPA Scholarship Fund Receives Grant
Seton Hall > News & Events

Dr. Naomi WishThe MPA program recently received a grant from the Union Foundation to build upon an endowed fund aimed at supporting students from Union County concentrating in nonprofit management.

In addition to the Union Foundation scholarship the MPA program currently provides financial assistance to its students through four endowed scholarship funds established largely through the fundraising efforts of Dr. Naomi Wish. Wish is a national leader in nonprofit organization management education and a past president of the Nonprofit Academic Council (NACC). She developed and instructs the majority of the nonprofit curriculum in the MPA program and regularly teaches a course in Israel introducing students to international differences that exist within the nonprofit sector. Wish led the efforts to establish the William Randolph Hearst Foundation scholarship, the Thomas J. Stanton scholarship, the Reiner Foundation Scholarship, and the Unanue Scholarships. These endowments provide multiple MPA students with scholarship aid in addition to federal loans and grants awarded through the Office of Financial Aid.
