Chicago Alumni Golf Outing
The Chicago Alumni Chapter held a Golf Outing on June 13, 2013 and raised more than $5,000 to benefit their Scholarship Fund. Up to twenty students per year are coming to Seton Hall from the Chicago area and many of these students are helped by the Chicago Alumni Memorial Scholarship. The assistance alumni give to students does not stop with the scholarship. They continue their efforts and support the students during their time at Seton Hall and after graduation with networking and internship opportunities.

"Special thanks is due to Ted Koester, J.D. '98, Kevin Webb '76, Rachel O'Block '06, Theresa Berkey ’03, Cory Faulkner, J.D. ’06 and the sponsors of the golf outing. The Chicago Alumni Chapter deserves great applause and praise for their dedication over the years," said Terranze Griffin, Associate Director of Regional Alumni Engagement.

About the Chicago Alumni Memorial Scholarship:
Chicago alumni created a scholarship fund because they believed it would make the recruiting process not only easier for them, but more fulfilling. In 2002, their vision for a scholarship became a reality when they established the Chicago Alumni Memorial Scholarship. It was established to honor the hard work of David J. Evans '52, and to honor the memory of Kenneth J. Battista '68, Richard Macali '51, and William B. Mellett '59. These men worked tirelessly to promote Seton Hall to area students.
