The Aspiring Kindness Foundation is hosting a charity golf outing at Great Gorge Country Club at Crystal Springs Golf Resort on June 28, 2013. The charity was inspired by the January 2000 Seton Hall University dormitory fire tragedy that took the lives of three students: Aaron Karol, Frank Caltabilota, and John Giunta. The Aspiring Kindness Foundation was created to always remember and honor Aaron Karol while raising funds for emergency responders (firemen, police, EMTs), ambulatory services, and hospital burn units. The organization has made donations to New York-Presbyterian Burn Center, Saint Barnabas Burn Center, the South Orange Fire Department, Navesink Hook and Ladder Fire Company, and Blood Center of NJ. Organizers say a portion of the proceeds will benefit the South Orange Rescue Squad.
In addition to golf at the award-winning Crystal Springs venue, the day will include a BBQ lunch, awards, contests, and raffles. Foursomes are $450; Individuals $125 and Lunch guests only are $35. There are numerous sponsorship opportunities. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. For more information, contact www.golf.aspiringkindness.org/ for more details or e-mail us at email@example.com.
