Frizzell, every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. on WSOU 89.5 FM, the number one college radio station in the New York metro area.

"We are pleased that we can now give our listeners flexible options and increase our listenership through the iTunes U app," said Father Frizzell. "Before, people could only tune into our program via the radio or internet during a small window between 8:30 and 9 a.m. on Sundays, or they missed it. Now, people can listen to podcasts of our radio show anytime at their convenience for free on their computer, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch mobile device."

The collection of podcasts not only includes the most recent recordings of The Kinship of Catholics and Jews, but also past recordings, the oldest of which features a discussion about the Sadducees and first century Judaism by the Institute of Judaeo-Christian Studies' current director, Father Frizzell, and the Institute's founding director, Monsignor John M. Oesterreicher. The podcast collection also highlights interviews with other scholars in the fields of biblical and Jewish-Christian studies as well as interviews with professors from Seton Hall University across a wide spectrum of schools and disciplines, including the Whitehead School of Diplomacy and International Relations, the G.K. Chesterton Institute and the Department of Communications and the Arts.

"It is wonderful to know that more and more people will now be able to learn about the Jewish roots of the Christian faith and the fundamental values, practices, traditions and principles that both faiths share," Father Frizzell said. "Such insights not only help promote justice and peace, but they also offer deeper insights into the mystery of God and his creation."
