Students and faculty within the College of Nursing have joined
together to raise people's awareness of childhood hunger. They have
reserved space within Seton Hall University College of
Nursing's building on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 2
p.m., to share information and to support Mary's Meals, an
international movement that sets up school feeding projects in
communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an
The Servant Leadership group will be trying to help children in Liberia
and Malawi, both in Africa, by providing funds to support Mary's Meals
vision of serving chronically hungry children one meal every school
day. Over 700,000children receive Mary's Meals every school day. The
average cost to feed a child for a whole school year $16.80.
