Seton Hall > News & Events

ChildrenStudents and faculty within the College of Nursing have joined together to raise people's awareness of childhood hunger. They have reserved space within Seton Hall University College of Nursing's building on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., to share information and to support Mary's Meals, an international movement that sets up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.

The Servant Leadership group will be trying to help children in Liberia and Malawi, both in Africa, by providing funds to support Mary's Meals vision of serving chronically hungry children one meal every school day. Over 700,000children receive Mary's Meals every school day. The average cost to feed a child for a whole school year $16.80.
