2012 CDI Assessment GrantThe University Assessment Committee is comprised of faculty and administrators from all schools, colleges and divisions of the University. Its purpose it to share assessment strategies and results with the larger community to help the University meet its assessment goals and objectives. Meetings are open to everyone and lunch is served

The University assessment committee met on March 15, 2013. Three presentations were given. Kelly Shea reported on the results of an assessment of the reading/writing proficiency, one of five core proficiencies that were implemented in the University Core curriculum program. Chrystena Hahn discussed rubrics as an assessment tool and the advantages of using rubrics in the classroom. In the third presentation, Michael Vigorito introduced the new University Assessment Center and discussed the recent assessment reporting requirements and assessment grant opportunities.
